Last night we saved an baby owl that seems to be trying to fly.  I first noticed this owl yesterday afternoon in our bushes and he then walked under our front porch.  So i thought he would be ok.  A few hours later I went outside and noticed him on our front steps.  About 10 feet away was a black cat which appeared to be hunting!  So we decided to talk to our neighbors to get some friendly advice on what to do with this poor little owl.  Ed new what to do and went and got his leather gloves and put him into the tree where we think its nest is.  This morning I checked and the owl was still in the tree but on a different branch.  Not sure if its going to make it or not.  I'm home today with Mykala.  Kelly is going to a women of faith conference this weekend.  I'm looking forward to spending some quality time with Mykala and I'm also glad that Kelly can go to this conference.  Well I hope you are all having a great spring.  It actually feels much more like summer right now here.  I'm going to go replace a few of our flowers that got scorched while we were gone over memorial day!
