Mother's day!
Mother's day is a great day!
We went to Willmar to be with my family to celebrate mother's day. We had a great weekend. It was very relaxing and Dave and I got to have some time alone. We got there on Friday night. We had grilled ribs with my parents and went for a walk. Mykala loves playing with Grandma and Grandpa. She keeps them busy asking, will you play with me? On Saturday, we took it easy in the morning. Then at about 10 Dave and I decided to go golfing. We have not been golfing for about 2 1/2 years, but we had a great time. Our game was not all that bad considering we have not been out there playing for a long time!! When we were done we went back to my parents and ate taco salads with them. Mykala went down for a nap and I took Landon to my Great aunt's 85th birthday party. It was great to see her and catch up with her a bit. 85 years, wow. For supper we went to Jake's, my favorite locally owned pizza place. I try to eat it as much as possible when I am home, I love it. After the kids were tucked in there beds we had to play a card game "99". It was fun, but of course I lost and you even get a grace round!! On Sunday we went to church and had lunch at my aunts house with the extended family. It was a lot of fun to see them.
When we got home we celebrated our own mother's day. The kids gave me a card and Dave also gave me a card. They gave me some money to spoil myself in any way I want!! I am still thinking about how I will spend the money, maybe a pedicure or a new outfit?
