Michigan, Indiana, & Illinois
We have made a whirlwind trip through the midwest. We headed on May 31 to Michigan for my cousin's wedding. We went 8 hours to Joliet, IL the first day. The second day we got up and hit the road again and drove to Allendale, MI (which is right by Grand Rapids). We went to the wedding and had a great time. The wedding took place in a art garden. It was beautiful and a wonderful day to get married!! Congrats to Jed and Kristy Roelofs!! On Saturday Morning we met Dave's Aunt and Uncle for breakfast. It was great to see them! After the wedding we stayed for the gift opening on Saturday! It was a great time and they got a lot of good gifts that a new couple needs to start there home. After that we headed to Indiana, My step-mom's family lives there. when we got there the whole family came over and we ate and ate some more. It was a great to see them and catch up with them. On Sunday, we went over to Diana and Skylee's house. They had the pool out and a bunch of toys for the kids to play with. Mykala had a blast and still askes to go to Skylee's house and play in the pool. In the afternoon, we headed to Davenport, IA. On this leg of the trip we had Lanae and Damian with. All of the kids, did very good in the car! We figured it out and in 5 days we traveled 1,635 miles and 27 hours and 7 minutes. It was a great trip, a lot of family and friends. Enjoy the pictures!! We had a great time but at the same time it was good to be home!
