3 years old!

Oh, how the time flies!!  Our baby girl is three!!  We had a great time celebrating her birthday.  I think that every year Mykala gets to celebrate her birthday for at least a week.  Dave's mom flew all the way out from California to help us celebrate.  What a treat!!  We kicked off the celebration by having some of her friends over for a Curious George.  We made monkeys out of plates and other stuff, played a couple of games, and ate a lot of food and CAKE!  We also opened gifts for the birthday girl.  I think she loved that part the most.  She had a great day on her birthday and was spoiled by all those who know her.  She got a ton of telephone calls, presents, birthday hug and kisses.

On Friday we headed to the Minneapolis area to go to a apple orchard up there.  We went last year and Mykala loved it, so we thought that we would take her back.  We stopped by the Spencer Fair on the way up there, but did not stay long.  It was very cold and windy.  We saw some farm animals and ate some lunch and hit the road again.  We went to the apple orchard on Saturday, it was a great day for the apple orchard.  We met Grandma and Grandpa Mulder there as well.  It was cool when we got there and as the day went on it warmed up and it was perfect outside to pick the apples.  We also went to the petting zoo at the orchard.

I think that this guy, Ferbie, was Dave's favorite!!

These were Mykala's favorite, she wanted to take one home with her.

That evening we went swimming and ordered pizza for another birthday celebration.  Grandma Mulder brought cupcakes for Mykala to enjoy also.

On Sunday we hit the Mall of America.  Grandma Vander Leest could not resist taking Mykala on a couple of rides.

Then we had to take Grandma Vander Leest back to the airport.  It was not fun but it is never fun to say good-bye!!  One last photo for you to enjoy!

As you can see we DID NOT skimp on the celebration part of her birthday!!  We love her a lot and wish her the best in the next year!!
