Good Bye Charlie
Last night we said good bye to our good friend Charlie! He is now in the hands of some good friends of ours. We trust that they will love him and care for him as we did. So that means, Charlie is not completely out of our lives, we will get to see him now and again. we took him over to their house when the kids were out of the house and surprised them. We put a bow on his collar so they understood that Charlie was theirs and not there just to visit. The kids were confused that we would want to get rid of him.
We loved our time with him and now it is time to move on. Klynsma clan have a great time with him. Remember not to stare him in the eyes, or you know what will happen, right Dylan!!! Thanks for caring for him.
It was pretty quiet around here when the Mailman came. Also, when ever I drop some food on the ground I let Charlie know that there is some food on the ground by tapping my foot by the spot of food. I caught myself tapping my foot where I had dropped food. I guess that I have to sweep more and clean it up myself now!! There were a couple of times when Mykala wanted to play with Charlie as well. We will get over it soon, it just takes awhile!
Cute Quick Story:
Mykala asked me today, "Mom, am I old enough to get another dog now?" I had to explain to her that she might get another dog when she was a teenager not a little girl. She said to me, "But Mom, I am older today!!"
