Reunion after 11 years
If you are a high school friend on mine checking out the blog site, then you know that Meegan and I were inseparable during high school. When we went off to college we lost contact and never really kept up with each other. We always knew where each other was because of another good friend we have in common, but we never went any farther than that to get in touch with each other.
Well, that changed this weekend!! Meegan's husband is a music director/teacher in a high school in Lincoln, NE. He directs the Show Choir for the school and his season was just over last weekend, but East High School (a Sioux City high school) asked to be a judge for their competition. So Meegan decided to come along and come over and visit. It was a great time. We caught up on old memories, talked about the stupid things we did in high school, thumbed through the old year book and laughed a lot. We got to also talk about our faith in Jesus Christ. That was the most exciting part for me! We have both changed but I think for the better! Meegan and her husband have two kids. Elliott is 3 months younger than Mykala and Landon and Alana are exactly 6 months apart. The kids played with every toy in the house while we talked. They were very well behaved!
It was a great time reconnecting with you Meegan. Thanks for contacting me, let's do it again. We have many memories from high school, but I believe that we are starting to make new present day memories. Thank you. You are a great friend and I look forward to seeing you and your family again.
