For those of you who do not know, we are in CA. We are visiting Dave's family. Today we decided to hit the beach. Ane what a day it was. It was about 84 degrees at the beach and sunny, PERFECT!! We headed for the beach at about 9am. Got there at about 9:45 and went right in the water. The kids loved it. When Mykala was getting out the the car the metal part of the seat belt hit her right below her right eye. It was bleeding, she was crying and it now has turned into a slight black eye. But we made it through. Then once we got in the water we were enjoying the waves, jumping over them as they reached the shore. As we were jumping in the waves, a boogie boarder came to shore and knocked Mykala to the floor, she went under the water and got all wet. Literally, she got ran over. She was not hurt just shocked at the whole event! But other then that we had a great time making sand castles, walking the shore line, playing in the sand, and eating our picnic lunch at the beach. Landon loved the sand, he would lay in the warm sand and rub his belly in it. He is quiet the little character! It was fun to watch both kids play at the beach. We are now back at the house getting all the sand off our bodies. Tonight is a big night for Dave's sister Julie, she is graduating from college. I am staying home with the kids while everyone is going to watch the big moment. What an accomplishment, we are proud of you Julie!! I will have to add pictures later.
