On our way home from church on Sunday we noticed Landon had fell asleep. We did not think a whole lot of it since church was extra long and he was up real early that morning. We got home and as Dave was taking him out of the van he woke up. We fed him a little lunch and tried to put him back to bed. For about an hour he played in his bed, kicked the wall and who knows whatever else!! We would go in and check on him from time to time and lay him back down, but it was not working. So finally we decided to go and get him out of bed. I thought maybe I could rock with him in the lazy boy and he would fall asleep. But no such luck. By the late afternoon we were all a little stir crazy and had to think of something to do that was constructive for us all. So I decided to pack the family in the car and go to Hy-Vee and we all pick out a pumpkin and we would carve it. I forgot the winds were blowing at 60MPH!! We did it anyway and almost blew away. We had a great time carving our pumpkins!
Landon was SO excited here, because he blew out the candle all by himself and Mykala is working on blowing hers out!!
